MOCA GA / Calendar

This exhibition was an installment of commissioned photographic portraits of Georgia artists produced in collaboration with the Atlanta Photography Group and funded by the Massey Charitable Trust. These works from the MOCA GA permanent collection were taken in 2012 as part of an ongoing project which features portraits of Georgia visual artists created by Georgia photographers. The photographers were commissioned to create two prints of each portrait, one to give to the subject of the portrait and one for the MOCA GA permanent collection. Beginning in 2006, this ongoing project has so far placed 58 portraits by 16 photographers in the MOCA GA permanent collection.
