Jim Waters received his BFA from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. He received his MFA in painting and sculpture from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. Selected solo exhibitions include New Work at Kiang Gallery and Recent Work at Sandler Hudson Gallery, both in Atlanta. Group exhibitions include the Georgia Triennial at the Telfair Museum of Art and Georgia Artists at the End of the Century at The Spruill Center for the Arts. Waters work is included in collections at the High Museum of Art, MOCA GA, Herman Miller, Inc., and Hartsfield International Airport. His work, in both two and three dimensions, has a minimalist sensibility. Waters is the Director of Exhibitions at the High Museum of Art.
