General Internship
MOCA GA is now accepting applications for the general internship position for Spring/Summer 2024 (unpaid)
MOCA GA’s General Internship is a unique experience offered to select undergraduate and graduate students for academic credit. Interns will be exposed to a wide variety of museum departments through projects related to visitor services, membership, education, special events, tours, social media, and museum operations. This program strives to educate students interested in pursuing a career in the museum field with a goal to equip interns with the tools necessary to become a successful and competitive stewards of the arts.
In addition to department-specific projects, interns should be willing to do light administrative work such as greeting and checking in museum visitors, answering phones, orienting guests and conducting research. Interns typically commit 8-10 hours per week for a minimum of three months. At this time, we are no longer offering internships to non-enrolled students.
