Guest Health & Safety

To help ensure physical distancing and a safe, comfortable experience, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia will be limiting the number of visitors in the museum to 20 per hour, using timed tickets, and requiring all tickets to be purchased online in advance. (Members will continue to receive free museum admission but must reserve tickets in advance.)

The safety of our visitors, staff, artists, and community is our top priority. We look forward to safely welcoming you to MOCA GA.

Here’s what we’re doing to protect our guests, members, staff, artists, and volunteers:

  • Regularly disinfecting hard surfaces
  • Extra deep cleaning sessions with housekeeping services
  • In-house programming will remain temporarily suspended
  • Limiting attendance to 20 per hour
  • Temporarily delaying group/tour reservations
  • Requiring physical distancing and use of face coverings
  • Offering online payments only, no cash
  • Added Plexiglas barriers at the reception desk
  • Implementing a one-way entrance and exit
  • Adding hand sanitizing stations
  • Staff remaining welcoming and friendly with handshake-free greetings
  • Suspending volunteer roles temporarily
  • Adapting protocols as needed
  • Continuing to offer free at-home programming

To reopen safely, we need everyone to do their part. Help us keep each other safe by following CDC guidelines and important safety procedures. MOCA GA will be reopening with the following visitor guidelines in place:

  • Advanced tickets only

  • Practice physical distancing
  • Stay home if sick or experiencing any flu-like symptoms
