ABOUT the Permanent Collection
Founded in 2000, MOCA GA boasts a permanent collection of nearly 1,000 works of contemporary art by more than 250 Georgia artists, which began with a founding collection of more than 250 works was donated by CGR Advisors and David S. Golden. The MOCA GA collection features works from the mid 1940s through today and includes works in all media, from painting to digital works, and all styles, from folk to minimalism. The permanent collection is regularly exhibited and can also be viewed by appointment. MOCA GA collects, documents and archives significant works and documentation by Georgia artists. MOCA GA is one of the few contemporary visual arts museums which pays homage to and promotes local artists.
ABOUT MOCA GA
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) collects and archives significant contemporary works by the artists of the state of Georgia. MOCA GA’s programs promote the visual arts by creating a forum for active interchange between artists and the community. MOCA GA is located at 75 Bennett Street.
