Focus: Artist Collections

This exhibition celebrated work selected from the collections of Georgia artists, and explored who Georgia artists are looking at and what they’re buying/ trading. MOCA GA’s Director, Annette Cone-Skelton curated this exhibition from the homes and studios of those who are passionate about supporting the artists of our time. How do these artists decide what to collect? Are there discernible trends in their collections? Artists’ collections featured in the show included: Larry Jens Anderson, Lucinda Bunnen, Susan Cofer, Kevin Cole, E. Wright Ledbetter, Katherine Mitchell, Freddie Styles, and Larry Walker. This exhibition showcased over seventy works by contemporary artists, including:
