Paper Diorama

Paper Diorama
This class will show guests how to turn a two dimensional image into a three-dimensional diorama. Using simple and humble materials like paper boxes, drawings and found materials, we will create a small shadowbox, inspired by Bell’s work, which uses portions of drawings, which are, cut and put together, to create a little intricate world. Guests may bring in their own small drawings or found materials to create an image with depth and dimension. The class will offer an introduction to several art making techniques including paper cutting, drawing, and collage.
