MOCA GA 2021 SPRING BENEFIT EXHIBITION HONORING LUCINDA BUNNEN, TINA DUNKLEY, AND SUSAN COFER

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) recognizes the extraordinary contributions women make to the arts every day. To honor those contributions, MOCA GA presents its 2021 Spring Benefit: Honoring Women Artists in Service of the Community. In recognition, MOCA GA will present a month- long exhibition of original works by Lucinda Bunnen, Tina Dunkley, and Susan Cofer, whose tireless efforts, patronage, and service to the community have been fundamental in establishing Atlanta as the cultural center that it is today.

Lucinda Bunnen is a well-decorated and accomplished artist who enjoys a long and successful career. Over the years, her overwhelmingly generous philanthropy to numerous organizations enabled the continuation of important work nonprofits do for the community.

Tina Dunkley is a multi-talented, award winning artist. In addition to her successful career, she played an essential role as the curator safeguarding Clark Atlanta University’s immense collection of Africa American Art.

Susan Cofer is a highly regarded artist who, for years, supported individual artists and arts institutions through her generous philanthropy. In addition to her delicate and meticulous drawings, she is a gifted portrait artist who is a visionary who skillfully creates sculptures that commemorate individuals who are foundational to the Atlanta art community.
