Now home to over 1,600 pieces, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) permanent collection originally began with 250 works by 110 Georgia artists. This founding selection was generously acquired from David S. Golden’s personal collection and the corporate collection of Atlanta-based CGR Advisors. Today, the museum continues to expand its holdings through donations, gifts, bequests, and strategic purchases. Ranging from monumental installations by Radcliffe Bailey to intimate black-and-white photography by Harry Callahan, the collection spans paintings, prints, sculpture, and new media. MOCA GA is dedicated to keeping a rotating selection of these permanent works on display alongside dynamic temporary exhibitions like the Working Artist Project.
