Visionary, artist, lecturer, architectural designer, and film producer are just a few artistic endeavors undertaken by Tullio Petrucci. Born in Detroit Michigan, Petrucci settled in Atlanta and was the head of the Design Department of the Atlanta College of Art from 1963-1968. He served as the Chairman of the Visual Arts Committee for the Atlanta Arts Festival, and he worked with the Urban Mythology Film Program and the Youth Experimental Opera Workshop called YEOW, which created works and filmed the results. He Curated the “The City” for the Atlanta Cultural Center, incorporated photographs by teenagers in Project Enlarge, and curated “History of Atlanta”, which was the opening exhibition for the Atlanta History Museum. In addition to MOCA GA, his work can be found in numerous museums, private collections and publications.
