Artist and educator Tom Francis received his B.S., M.A., and M.F.A. in Painting from the University of Wisconsin. Francis is a professor of Painting at SCAD-Atlanta. He is known for his intensely vibrant and patterned paintings. Francis’s works have been exhibited at multiple venues across the United States and internationally, including at The High Museum of Art (Atlanta, GA), the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art (AL), the Georgia Museum of Fine Art (Athens, GA), Westmont Museum of Art (Santa Barbara, CA), the Columbia Museum of Art (SC), and Ohr-O’Keefe Museum (Biloxi, MS), as well as in Canada, France, Italy, Hong Kong, and Russia. Moreover, his work can be found in numerous private, public and corporate collections, such as the Chase Manhattan Bank, Champion Corporation, Savannah College of Art and Design, Lorimar Productions, Disney Corporation, Coca Cola USA, the State of Georgia, and the State of Wisconsin.
