A nationally recognized architect, Thomas W. Ventulett, III, FAIA, has been exploring the art of watercolor for decades. Initially a way to communicate his award winning design, Tom has shifted his painting focus to the abstract explorations of flowers. One of the founding principles of the internationally-recognized firm of Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates (tvsdesign), Tom Ventulett is Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors. He served as Design Quality Assurance Director for the firm’s architectural practice since its inception in 1968. In 2002, tvsdesign received the National Architecture Firm Award, the highest honor bestowed by the American Institute of Architects. Ventulett is a frequent lecturer to professional and civic organizations, colleges, and universities in the United States. He is a visiting professor at Georgia Tech teaching watercolor in the College of Architecture.
