Teresa M. Sims is an Atlanta based photographer born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She received a B.A. in Photojournalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, and moved to Atlanta, GA where she continues to practices fine art and documentary photography. Sims has exhibited in Winston-Salem, NC, Atlanta, GA; Decatur, GA; Albuquerque, NM; and Chicago, IL. Sims has been very active in the Atlanta photographic community and served on the organization boards of the Atlanta Photography Group, Atlanta Celebrates Photography and Women in Focus. Her work can be found in various collections, including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, March of Dimes (Atlanta), City Hall of Decatur, Miller Gallman Developers, and Greenberg Traurig Associates.
