Shirley Lee Bolton (b.1945 in Lexington, GA – 1984) was a painter, educator, and illustrator. Bolton studied at the University of Georgia and was an assistant professor of art at the University of West Florida. She exhibited at Atlanta University (1964-70), University of Georgia (1970), High Museum of Art (Atlanta, GA, 1971, 1973), and the Carnegie Institute (1971-72). Her work can be found in the collections of the Atlanta University Archives, the Carnation Milk Company (Los Angeles, CA), University of Georgia, and the Johnson Publishing Co. (Chicago, IL).
