Harris Dimitropoulos (b. 1954, Athens, Greece) received his B.A. in architecture from National Technical University (Athens, Greece), his M.A. in architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA), and his Ph.D. from the Aristoteleion University (Thessaloniki, Greece). He has taught art, design and theory courses in Europe and in the United States, including as an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA). His architectural and art work has been exhibited in Europe and in the United States, and his project Bastilles was chosen for the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the French Revolution in 1989.
