Eleanor Dixon-Stecker (b. 1943 in New Kensington, PA) received a B.F.A. (1968) from Atlanta College of Art. She also studied at Rhode Island School of Design and did graduate work in Fine Art at the University of Illinois. For seven years, Dixon-Stecker was a courtroom artist for NBC Network News and WXIA, Channel 11 News in Atlanta. Her work is in MOCA GA’s permanent collection and has been included in the 2002 exhibit A Celebration of Georgia Artists in the Permanent Collection, as well as, the MOCA Majors exhibition at the SunTrust Plaza (Atlanta, GA).
