David Clifton-Strawn (b. 1961 in Atlanta, GA) is an independent portrait and urban environment photographer. He received a B.A. in early 20th century American literature in 1988. Self-taught in photography, he is inspired by Herman Leonard, Richard Avedon, Diane Arbus, Robert Mapplethorpe, Duane Michals, and Zanele Muholi. He lives and works in Atlanta.
