Adam Forrester (b. 1980 in Columbus, GA) received his M.F.A. from the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia. His work has been screened and exhibited nationally and internationally as well as featured by NPR, The Bitter Southerner, and VICE Magazine. Forrester has published numerous photobooks, including Supermoon, which was featured in GUP Magazine’s “Favourite Photobooks of 2013.” He aims to create art “about bizarre myths, abiding folktales, and mumbled truths.” His work can be found here at MOCA GA, The Columbus Museum (Columbus, GA), David M. Rubenstein Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Duke University (Durham, NC), and others museums and libraries across the South.
