Dear MOCA GA Visitors,
MOCA GA is looking forward to bringing artists and audiences together through the power of contemporary art and celebrating the Museum’s 20th anniversary this calendar year. Like many, we are astonished by the impacts of COVID-19 both nationally and internationally and are determined to take every necessary step possible to protect our community.
MOCA GA is an institution that is given significant trust by the public. In the interest of maintaining that trust and protecting our patrons, artists, staff, volunteers, and visitors, MOCA GA is temporarily closing its doors to the public and suspending its public programs while we monitor the situation at hand. This decision was made based on our leadership’s unanimous decision and informed by the guidance of the CDC which recommends “social distancing” and the suspension of large gatherings.
During this time, MOCA GA staff will be working behind the scenes to carry the institution forward, engage artists and audiences through creative methods, and explore ways to connect Georgia to contemporary art from a safe distance.
Please follow our website for announcements and updates, and join us on our social media platforms as we continue organizing key programs and anniversary celebrations throughout the year.
Thank you so much for trusting us, supporting us, and believing in the work we do in the Georgia community. We look forward to inviting you back to MOCA GA very soon. In the meantime, please be safe.
The MOCA GA Team
