Paul Hagedorn lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2010, Hagedorn’s video and photographic series, Peachtree Battle: Imaginary War Games, was presented in Atlanta Georgia, with a monograph and essay by the HIGH Museum’s former Curator of Photography, Julian Cox. Hagedorn’s images of New York, Atlanta, and Western Europe challenge the way people see the familiar, taking inspiration from his former career in advertising and art direction. Paul Hagedorn’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia, Atlanta, GA; the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA and the Georgia Museum of Art, Athens, GA. The artist was born in Manhasset, NY in 1956.
