I contend an artist is anyone who says they’re one. Art is what they do. The judgement of the work, a viewer’s impressions, gives critics and teachers employment. The work itself, the images, stand alone. Consequently the simplest explanation of what I do should suffice. I make prints, two dimensional works on paper. I use a camera to start the process and finish with digital editing and archival printing. I never add objects but sometimes I “clean” an image a bit, perhaps enhance the color. The process is not very different from any other form of print making and all the same as to purpose, hopeful communication.
