MOCA GA's PROGRAMS |
One of MOCA GA’s key components is educational outreach, and the Museum’s Education/Resource Center (E/RC) is the cornerstone of this initiative. The E/RC serves as a unique, centralized source for historical documents and archived materials that tell the story of contemporary art in Georgia. These resources act as the foundation for the development of a new arts curriculum, which will engage students in the history of Georgia art through visual, biographical, and interactive materials. Programming includes artists’/curators’ talks, tours of the permanent collections, interpretive tours of exhibitions for schools and the general public, demonstrations, lectures, screenings, and panel discussions.
